The Mark Hotel
This project involved the transformation of a tired run down old suburban pub into a cutting edge, market leading Hotel. This venue is now receiving rave reviews for food, service and atmosphere all of which are made possible due to the practical design and exceptional level of workmanship displayed. Works included the demolition of internal walls to create the open spacious feel that now exists. Materials used in the project included:- stainless steel benches, a range of laminate finishes to joinery units and dropped bulkheads, curved corian benchtops, various rectified edge floor and wall tiles, quality broadloom carpet, commercial glass and aluminium doors and partitions and a feature fire place complete with surrounds.
The co-operation between client, designer, builder and subcontractors has produced a fully functioning eye catching Hotel in a suburban Newcastle location. This fit out successfully combines the latest materials often reserved for inner city hotels merged with the practical requirements of a suburban hotel which must provide:- affordable family dinning, entertainment, bar service, gaming, lounge and smoking areas. A practical design, coupled with the selection of cutting edge internal finishes has been professionally constructed and delivered by RTC. The project was completed in only 12 weeks with a brief scheduled shutdown of the hotel for 5 weeks. This successful collaboration of all involved parties has resulted in a high degree of client satisfaction who now enjoys elevated levels of satisfied patrons.
