Richard Claut

Qualified Carpenter/Joiner, Advanced Building Supervision Certificate, Licensed Builder, Licensed Supervisor, Master Builders Association (Member) and Housing Industry of Australia (Member).

Experience

Richard Claut, Director, started working for himself in 1991. The RTC Group was then established in 1995 with the incorporation of RTC Building Services. The Group secured a facilities maintenance contract with the State Government and after exceeding their expectations was awarded long term contracts within the Hunter Region.  The success of the business afforded RTC Group to expand into Mid-North Coast and North Western Regions and take over failed operations that were notoriously substandard in regard to management and performance. The RTC Group has also diversified into Shop Fitting & Joinery, Commercial Construction, Commercial Fit-out and Prestige Residential Building. Richard is as passionate as ever and surrounds himself with talented people from both inside RTC Group.

Michael Rigby

Qualified Carpenter/Joiner, Advanced Building Supervision Certificate, Master Builders Association (Member, NSW MBA Hunter Committee Member) and Housing Industry of Australia (Member).

Experience

Michael Rigby is a Director of RTC Commercial Pty Ltd, and oversees the operation/s from the Beresfield Head Office. Michael is “hands-on” in the procurement of Management and the Supervision of staff. Winner 1989 1st in Trade Certificate Stage One; GSD Williamson Memorial Prize NSW; 1989 Building Workers Industrial Union Prize. Aust; 1990 1st in Stage Two 1990; State Rail Authority Of NSW School of Building - State Award; 1991 The Building Workers Industrial Union Prize NSW; 1991 Distinction Certificate for Carpentry and Joinery NSW; 1991 Newcastle MBA Award for Outstanding Apprentice of the Year NSW; 1992 Department of Industrial Relations Regional Apprentice of the Year; First in Building Supervision Stage One and First in Stage Two; Top in the State for Building Supervision Completion Certificate.

 

General Manager

Luke Barker

Qualifications & Associations

Bachelor of Commerce with double major in “Management Accounting & Finance”, Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) with dual specialisation in “Leadership & Communication” and “Strategy & Planning”.

Experience

Luke has 10 years experience in the provision of expert strategic, analytical, financial and business advisory services to management and project teams on accounting, business planning, budgeting and financial management information system applications. Also the development, exploitation and administration of computerised financial systems and management reporting tools that better drive business accountability.

 

Manager - Facilities Maintenance

Graeme Hall

Qualifications & Associations

Higher School Certificate 1976 Newcastle Technical High School.  Cardiff High School Workplace Trainers Category One - TAFE Supervisors/Line Managers OHS Course OHS Induction Training for Construction Scoping Passport.

Experience

Graeme has managed several maintenance providers for high end clients such as NSW Department of Housing, Resitech, Commerce, Office of Community Housing (direct) and DADIH. Graeme has concentrated on DOH and has been directly involved in managing contracts in excess of 18 years.

 

Contract Manager

John Jones

Qualifications & Associations

NEBS Management Certificate, Workforce Industry Training NSW OHS Risk management for line managers. Green Card Trade certificate standard level. Trade Certificate Advanced Scoping Passport.

Experience

John has over 20 years as a manager on Social Housing contracts in both, Australia and the UK controlling supervisors, sub contractors, and direct staff. John is directly responsible for budgets, forecasts, quality, timeframes, programming.  He has over 35 years experience in the construction industry.

 

Finance Manager

Nathan Reynolds

Qualifications & Associations

Bachelor of Commerce, Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia (ICAA).

Experience

Nathan has 11 years experience with a Newcastle Chartered Accounting firm, prior to joining the RTC Group. During this time he has specialised in the assessment and implementation of business information systems for large privately owned businesses as well as registered clubs . He has also been involved with assessing client performance, implementing improvement strategies and defining indicators for measuring success. Nathan also has been involved with the budget setting process for large multinational companies, listed companies and registered clubs.

 

Quality Assurance Manager

Graham Heslop

Qualifications & Associations

Management Systems Auditing – SAI Global (2004), Certificate IV in On-Site Environmental Management(2009), Environmental Impact Assessment Training(2007), Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (2005), Advanced Certificate in Safety Management (1994), OH&S Consultation Course (2003) and Return to Work Coordinators Course (2003).

Experience

33 continuous years in the Construction Industry. Graham has provided systems support, auditing and the development of management systems for the Construction projects. Encompassing large scale heavy construction associated with a cross section of Mine Sites, Smelters, Ship /Ore loaders, rail infrastructures, Transmission Lines, Substations as well as Water Treatment Plant projects.

 

IT Manager

Garry Mills

Qualifications & Associations

Microsoft MCP (1998), Microsoft Training (by accredited 3rd party providers), Pronto Software Training – Advanced (by Pronto Software).

Experience

Garry is the IT Manager for RTC Group and manages the computer systems and software including the implementation and management of the PRONTO-Xi management system. Garry has previous experience as a Business Consultant with 10 years experience in installation, configuration and management of corporate management software, including 5 years directly supporting and managing IT solutions specifically designed to manage large contracts. Garry also has 5 years previous experience as a computer technician configuring, building and installing Windows based file servers and networks.

 

Construction Manager

Mato Demir

Qualifications & Associations

Qualified Carpenter/Joiner with Builders licence, Advanced Building Supervision Certificate, Master Builders Association (Member) and Housing Industry of Australia (Member).

Experience

Mato oversees the entire construction operations of RTC, ensuring client satisfaction at all times. Mato has been involved with numerous fit-out and construction projects.
