RTC Residential operate under a “cost plus” contract arrangement for all of our residential projects. This arrangement allows for greater flexibility as the project evolves. All the “guess work” of fixed price tendering and overcharged variations are removed. Effectively the client only pays for what they get.

This does not mean, however, that the contractor is entitled to charge whatever they like. The contract (CPC Residential – MBA NSW) provides that RTC has to verify and / or justify the costs of the works to be charged. To facilitate the justification process the Project Manager is actively involved when new subcontractors are to be appointed.
