Bar Beach Residence

This residence is an architecturally designed, custom built home. The building was constructed using precast concrete wall and floor panels. This method of construction could be considered unusual and unique in its residential application, but was chosen due to the time savings that could be achieved on site, the unrivalled thermal rating and strength of the finished product. The precast concrete walls were treated with an applied Rockcote finish to avoid the industrial appearance generally associated with this type of construction. An existing house had to be demolished to allow this project to be undertaken.
