RTC has a strong history and commitment to supporting the local communities in which we operate via employment, supporting local business together with sponsorship of events, charities and community engagement.
Jason Ivkovic Racing
Jason is a 32 year old road racer from the Barossa Valley, South Australia. Jason arrived late to the sport at the age of 29, however he has quickly made a strong impression having won the 2013 National Pirelli Road Racing Superstock 1000 Championship. Achieving a ranking higher than many who started the sport at a young age.
Jason’s next step was the Australasian Superbike Series in 2014, the highest level of the country’s best road racers. He has swiftly acquired a large fan base and loyal support from his community, yet financial sponsorship is essential for Jason to follow his dream and become one of the country’s best road racers.

Melrose Fat Tyre Festival
The Melrose Fat Tyre Festival is an Annual Mountain Bike Festival held each June long weekend for beginners to expert riders, and people looking for a great weekend away in the picturesque town of Melrose (Southern Flinders Ranges).
With several keen mountain bike riders as part of their team, this event is one in which RTC not only have an interest as a Tier 1 Partner, but also as a participant in the event itself.
RTC a pleased to provide a Gold Sponsorship for the 125th Oodnadatta Races for 2015. These races are a unique traditional outback event, organised by the Oodnadatta Race Club. The funds raised from this event are used by the club to assist local charities and organisations such as the RFDS and Cancer Council (SA).
RTC will have naming rights to a race and the prize will be presented to the winning jockey and horse owner by RTC employee (Greg Warren) who is a member of the Dunjiba community.
Virtus Soccer Club (Port Pirie)
The Virtus Soccer Club is home of the Northern Demons, a regional based club in the Port Pirie and Mid North of South Australia. The club has a vision to develop junior players and to provide a pathway for talented players in regional South Australia.
As a Corporate Sponsor, RTC is providing assistance to the club to allow it to follow this vision and support in achieving its goals of fair play, strong work ethic and loyalty to club and team.
Woodcroft College (Morphett Vale)
The Australian Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) Super Series is an event organised by the Australian International Pedal Prix Inc. to provide young people working in a team an opportunity to understand and express sound mechanical and engineering principles. Each team is required to build and test a vehicle against others on a closed, supervised and safety controlled circuit. Preliminary rounds are held at Victoria Park with a 24 hour race held annually at Murray Bridge in September.
RTC is proud to have assisted Woodcroft College with their fundraising efforts which saw them enter three pedal prix teams into the Super Series.
New South Wales
Wallsend Tigers Cricket Club
RTC has been a long term sponsor of the club with the sponsorship assisting with keeping facilities and equipment updated for the benefit of both senior and junior players. Wallsend Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the Newcastle area and has a strong history of developing junior players and providing a valuable community sporting club.
Lambton Jaffas Soccer Club
The Lambton Jaffas soccer club is based in the Newcastle area and was established in 1957. As a sponsor RTC is providing assistance to the club to provide the necessary equipment and facilities to develop all categories of junior players for the future of the game.
Harry Meyn Foundation Ltd
The Harry Meyn Foundation raises funds to assist children diagnosed with cancer and their families. In 2011 the foundation established Harry’s House at Stockton, a retreat for families that have a child living with cancer or families that have lost a child to cancer. RTC are proud to provide sponsorship at the annual golf day.
Hunter Breastcare Breakfast
RTC are proud to participate and donate to this annual event held at the Wests Group in Newcastle. This allows our staff to be involved in these events and provide back to the community in line with our values.
Detonation Boxing Events
RTC are a major sponsor of the Detonation series of boxing events held in Newcastle. The detonation series is structured to provide young Australian Boxers an opportunity to further their careers in professionally run events.
